Routes To Membership
Membership is open to those who possess relevant experience, qualifications, expertise, skills, and are ready to take the relevant qualifying examinations. It is also open for amateurs, entertainers, investors in entertainment, and those who had an interest in entertainment
PARTNER
A Ph.D. in degree in theatre art, music, mass communication, or other art courses, with not less than 20 years experience in filmmaking, music or entertainment industry as a theatre artist, musician, entertainer, producer, marketer, crew member, entertainment business consultant, involved in production management and marketing strategies and skills, methods and principle framework in their working space. After induction, you will be privileged to use the post-nominal letters PTIPFEM
FELLOW
Minimum of 10 years of working experience with a postgraduate qualification in theatre art, filmmaking, music, journalism, or other art-related disciplines. Also acceptable are persons who have gotten fifteen (15) years experience as a veteran actor/actress, musician or entertainer, or a well-established film/music business investment with a minimum of 10 years of existence.

PROFESSIONAL
Minimum of 8 years of working experience with a degree in any course related to film, music, or entertainment. Also acceptable are persons who have gotten ten (10) years experience as a veteran actor/actress, musician or entertainer or a well-established film/music business investment with a minimum of 5 years of existence

ASSOCIATE
Minimum of a degree in art courses or related courses or equivalent. We also accept persons with a minimum of 1-year experience in filmmaking, musicology, and entertainment role where the application of skills, knowledge, principle, and strategies of production management, development, and administration has made important contributions to your field of work as an actor, musician, entertainer, filmmaker, crew worker, etc.
PROFICIENCY
Minimum of 1-year working experience with a degree (HND, B.Ed., or BSc, BA) theater art or other art-related courses or any courses done with entertainment background knowledge. Also acceptable are persons who have gotten five (5) years experience as an actor/actress, musician or entertainer or a well-established film/music business investment with a minimum of 2 years of existence.
QUALIFIED
Minimum of (OND, HND, BSc, BA) , with 3 years of working experience . Those without these qualifications can be accepted after undergoing the institute’s qualifying exams. Also acceptable are persons who have gotten a one (1) year experience as an actor/actress, musician or entertainer or a well-established film/music business investment with a minimum of 1 year of existence
STUDENT
Minimum of WAEC and/or institutional identification card; Must have an interest in film or music and must undergo a training course with the institute. The post-nominal letters ascribed here is STIPFEM
GRADUATE
These are fresh graduates in any field of study who have are interested in entertainment. Must have an interest in film or music and must undergo a training course with the institute. The post-nominal letters ascribed here is GIPFEM
AFFILIATE
Individuals who have an interest in talent development and entertainment or persons who are already in the entertainment industry without educational qualifications but interested to be developing their talents through the institute's training and retraining courses.
The institute offers Five levels of Affiliate Members, namely: Diamond, Golden, Silver, Platinum, and Bronze
DIAMOND MEMBER
These are persons who had spent more than 5 years in the entertainment industry and must have featured in more than five(5) movies or music or entertainment projects and interest to be developing their talents through the institute's training and retraining courses.
GOLDEN MEMBER
These are individuals who had spent 5 years in the entertainment industry and must have featured in not less than four(4) movies or music or entertainment projects and interested to be developing their talents through the institute's upgrade training and retraining courses.
SILVER MEMBER
These are individuals who had spent 3 years in the entertainment industry and must have featured in not less than three(3) movies or music or entertainment projects and interested to be developing their talents through the institute's upgrade training and retraining courses.
PLATINUM MEMBER
These are individuals who had little experience in the entertainment industry but must have featured in two(2) movies or music or entertainment projects and interested to be developing their talents through the institute's upgrade training and retraining courses.
BRONZE MEMBER
These are persons who had no experience or qualifications in the entertainment industry and must be interested to be developing their talents through the institute's upgrade training and retraining courses.
