Young IPFEM Network

The Institute trains and equips young people under the age of 25 who are talented in any of the areas in entertainment namely acting, singing, dancing, storytelling/scriptwriting, etc, or who have an interest in entertainment to become experts in the industry.  This opportunity is open to students and young practitioners from all other professional fields to practice and learn filmmaking, entertainment, music, film/music production, film/music directing and management, etc.

 

The Young IPFEM Network seeks to:

  • To provide a platform for young professionals (aged 25 years and under) to exchange ideas and experience in the international commercial entertainment business and other forms of talent development mechanisms
  • To provide access for young professionals interested in filmmaking, entertainment, and musicology, and other forms of production and marketing of contents in Nigeria and West Africa to network with their peers and develop a mentorship arrangement between young artists and seasoned practitioners.
  • To promote the use of talents to create occupation and other forms of self-employment in the entertainment industry by young professionals as the first option for talent development both nationally and within West Africa.
  • The applicant in order to qualify must show evidence of being within the age range, be either a student or a young artist in the industry or sector, be referenced by at least one person, and successfully complete a one-day foundation training.
